Why korean's students are interesting?

"Your group are going to the main campus which is located at the section 2 of Shah Alam this 15th of July 2013 which is on Monday sharp at 2 P.M to meet and learn English from the Korean's exchange students", when Mr.Adlan, our lecturer for the College Writting course told us about the news, we all screamed to death as we all are among the fanatic fans of the Korean's band and everybody in the class was so excited and eager to meet them. When the day came, we went to our campus first to attend our morning Grammar's lecture with our lovely lecturer, Mdm. Melissa that is also known as Miss Mel for about two hours and the lecture was ended at 12.20 P.M and everybody was rushing to the bus stop as we got out form the class to go the main campus to meet the Koreans as our lesson will be held at the SAAS's Tower which located inside the main campus. On our way, I could hear all the girls were so excited about the Koreans and they started to imagine how were their appearances, are they going to look like the Korean's singer and actor?. we reach there at 1.30 P.M and everything went smoothly on that day and everybody got their share of benefits through the lesson done by the Koreans and i found out that they were very open minded, friendly and helpful.

First and foremost, i found out that the Koreans were very open minded people as they tried to understand our way of learning English as they never had any experience of teaching Malaysian's students. For instance, they gave us some space to provide our answers during the games as they held some games during their lesson to make us understand better about the lesson. Besides, they also allowed us to justify our answers as they want to know our metacognition that is our way of thinking to solve the problem whether our answers were matured or not. On the other hands, they also didn't mind to dance for us as we did the karaoke games whereby we need to detect the verbs in the song lyrics as they were dancing when the songs were played and it help to ease our stress of finding the answers. The Koreans also held a games during the noun's lesson as they used the pictures of artists from all over the world and stick on our back including from Malaysia instead of using the artist's pictures of their country for us to guess who are we based on the pictures. As a result, that is why I think that they were very interesting as they were very open minded during their lesson that indirectly helped us to understand more regarding the lesson that they have conducted.

Secondly, other than being open minded, they also were very friendly as they came to us all the time just to checked on our condition. For instance, during their group members were presenting in front of us, they will come and ask us if we had any problem pertaining to the lectured for every 15 minutes and each of us felt very satisfied with their attitudes that stresses on the students need to ensure that the lesson could flow well. Besides that, they also tried to approach us with different method like asking us to read the passage together whether on the handout given to us or on the big white screen in front of the class. On top of that, we also could ask them to help us and they would never say no. Instead, they were so happy that they can share their knowledge with us and the most important thing that always cheers up the whole class is their smile as they had a very beautiful and sincere smile ever. Besides that, they always introduced themselves first before we start our lesson as there were two groups of them that consisted of six person for each group and they used different kinds if introduction as some would sing a song and others would greet us in our native language that made us laugh so hard but we gave them applauses for their bravery for trying to say it out and aloud.

Thirdly, the Koreans also were very helpful as well as being open minded and friendly to us. For instance, during their teaching lesson, they always checked on our activities throughout the games as it was not just for fun, but it helped us to get more information and a better understanding regarding the topic that we were discussing about. Furthermore, they also gave some of their ideas on how to developed our answers and they were actually came to us in a group of three people and each of them gave different ideas that enabled us to choose which one is the best. Besides, during the lesson, the Koreans also did brainstorm a lot. For an example, they did gave us a lot of example using different kinds of sources in order to make it easier for us to understand even though that we actually already got their message, but they just want to ensure that we will remember it forever.

Last but not least, I think that Koreans are very interesting people as they were very open minded, friendly and helpful. Besides, I also do really hopes that there will be more program as such as it really helped us in our study as we are a future tutor that will also spread our knowledge to other people regarding their background. Moreover, I do really want to thank my lecturer, Mr. Adlan for giving us such a wonderful experience to learn and get to know other cultures.
